Walking in Germany

Walking in Germany
Germany is a walker's paradise with its romantic forests, picturesque hill and mountain landscapes, whether you enjoy hiking, biking or a combination of both, Germany can offer it all.
Thousands of well-marked biking and hiking trails from easy-going to rigorous trails, from the Black Forest to the beautiful scenery of Upper Bavaria along river valleys to the forests and lakes of South-East Bavaria. The Black Forest alone offers over 20,000 kilometers of walking trails and numerous cycling tours to choose from.
The Black Forest alone offers over 20,000 kilometers of walking trails and numerous cycling tours to choose from, these trails lead through the most beautiful natural landscapes which can be divided into several stages for hiking trips. An amazing hike is the historical "Maximilian Weg". The "Maximiliansweg" hiking path follows exactly the same route from the Allgäu region to Lake Königsee as King Maximilian II took in 1858. The 14 day journey across the Alps leads from Füssen to Bad Wiessee along the most beautiful landscapes and viewpoints of the Bavarian Alps.
